In order to encourage new recruits, Dominion Woollens and Worsteds Ltd had to tell their story far and wide. This slide is from a 1951 company presentation to potential new recruits to help staff the Mill. 

You can see that they were ahead of the curve in terms of pay and this would be tempting for outside men and women looking for work.
